I dont think XS++ supports SE yet...u might wanna wait till they release a newer version...which mite have support for it! or try davinci or something i guess!!

Hey guys. I got my K850i yesterday and I love it, especially after the disaster that was the Nokia 6280. I was wondering though, is it actually possible to reassign the touch screen navigation keys? I keep opening the internet browser wnen I don't mean to, and it's starting to annoy me. Many thanks!

There is nothing you can to to manually change them, however debranding your phone will give you "Media", "Menu" and "Contacts" as the soft keys.

there is a way to do this in VLC player....in settings u select extended GUI and then in the Video Tab select the Transformation Video Filter. You can modify the transformation video filter settings through the preferences.

I tried following your advice and selected extended GUI and then Video Tab and then select Transformation Video Filter when I used VLC player to rotate the video because I took the video with camera phone vertically but the video comes out upside down. How do I keep rotating the video picture so it doesn't play upside down? It tried going to Preferences as you said to modify the Transformation Video Filter settings but I can find anything to further rotate the video so that it won't play upside down.

Hi can anyone help with a problem that i have with k850i, I got my phone with software firmware R1EA037 (its with orange uk) was checking for upgrade on phone, told that here was one, downloaded that, phone has now got R1EC001. Have checked other threads think this is orange uk only,but the phone does not let me display the homescreen,the email alerts do not work , have asked orange ,still waiting for answer,se say that i can send phone to them,does anyone on orange uk have same problems? thanks

anyways, jus opened my brand new k850i. i have firmware version r1ea031. should i keep this or update to whatever the newest frimware is? im a newb when it comes to all this high gadget stuff. sorry.
also i bought a screen protector. can i put that on and still be able to use the touch keys with no problems??

Oh I beg to differ! It may not be the simplest way, but when you are browsing using any A1/A2 phone with the basic Netfront browser you can send a message and then afterwards continue browsing!
On a A2 phone, simply press the call key (the key with the green phone on it) and it comes up with a screen allowing you to make a call. Press "Look up" and scroll to the contact you want to send a message to and press "Options", then "Send Message", afterwards you should be sweet. When sent, press the back button a couple of times to get back to your browser exactly the way you left it. Easy as pie.
On an A1 phone (forgive me, I don't have one nearby), you have the option in the "More" or "Options" menu to make a call or go to the Phonebook. You'll see it. Once you've found it you'll have no troubles working out what to do.

I'm still looking at how to use audiobooks & find a format that works. I use Audible & the k850i wont recognise this format.

Maybe this is a little dumb but have you tried converting to the same format as an Ipod Audiobook? Im just wondering if Audiobooks have some significant difference to MP3 etc. Maybe im just thinkin out loud but if someone has some time maybe give it a go??
