I have just checked with a source @ SE... No announcement planned for Dec 12... Next announcement in Q1 2008... Probably close to GSM World Congress in Feb... Btw the P5 pic looks like a photoshop to me... The way the guy is holding it in his hands, the device would have to be, say, 5 mm thin... And why are we talking 'bout the P5 if the hardware has been scrapped and SE is changing the chipset? If that's really the case, we won't see any P5 announcement till Q4 2008...

maybe dec 12 is just a official preview for P5 and Maria just like what they did with SE W880. but the announcement is next year - that's for sure

I'm sorry to sound like everybody else who cries 'photoshop' (I hate those people who take the arguments of is it or isn't it so seriously) but this image looks obvious to me and no-one has said it yet. The clearest indicator by my sight is that there is a unnatural amount of reflection from the button next to the thumb, which in a shot that is so dark, is impossible. It gives the picture a very unbalanced look. I've seen better created images.
..and don't you think the all black K850 could just be an early prototype i.e. before they'd thought to add the colours? Who remember this pre-announcement spy pic of the K850?
Looks.. erm... black and silver to me (but then I am ever so slightly colour blind)

Eh, well if u can't figure out that it's a con job, then I don't blame you for wondering aloud if i have bad eyes...
Anyway, I'm not denying or accepting whether the P5 exists or not. My only point is we have already heard that SE has scrapped the original hardware and it was clearly stated (i believe in the same Unofficial SE blog, gotta check my facts) that the Nov 6 announcement was the last one of the year. Then where does this whole thing about the P5 come again?
Some wise guy photoshops an image and there we go again. If he really had the phone, why didn't he click the rear or the sides? These photoshops were available in this very forum created by some talented guys who had access to the phone but were under obligation to not to post the pics.
