Let`s hope we see it this year at least, I`m talking about a new Symbian phone from SE.
Does anybody know anything new about Hikaru ,I know it is now believed to have 8gb memory, 8 mpx camera, it`s a slider and won`t be a smart phone.Anything else?
Or about a new Xperia, it would be interesting especially if it will continue using WM now that WM6.5 is rumored to be out in feb at MWC,or at least shown off to the public there.

A2 is practically new. SE has to take all out of it as it did with the A1. Just a thought.

I was going to write how wrong you are but after checking Sony Semiconductor's datasheets (
IMX034 5 MP CMOS vs
ICX495 5 MP CCD), I think you're right. The problem though is that they keep shrinking the sensors which negate the gains in sensitivity. If the IMX034 would have been 1/2.5" instead of as now 1/3.2", it would been pretty much the same
low-light wonder as the ICX495.

Well I added that last bit on purpose seeing the prices of some SE phones last year. I think SE can definitely come out with mid-end high priced phones compared to other manufacturers.

Oh, a 'new' device? I think it's only a K850 in another housing. The dpad and the softkeys are 'stolen' from K770. Kinda boring. And C9xx? So highend this phone? I hope, it'll have GPS and WiFi - that's a must for highend. The 5MP and Xenon flash are ok. Maybe it's got VGA-videorecording? But I don't think so..
