Just checking the Support site on sonyericsson (UK) website for W995 and the manual and software are available for download. Am checking at the new Media 2 Go software now....

I think its just simplified for the sake of the application. The options menu doesn't work but you can still change the icon layout in the settings - display section. Don't see it being any different from the C905 - apart from the themes.

can anybody get these applications that came with the W995 please
The Sound Sensor catches the surrounding noise and shows it in a real-time graphical diagram - just like an equalizer or music-animated visualization.
The VoiceFX application records your voice and then allows you to apply different filters and effects to it before saving the new sound file to your phone.
