But apparently you're myopic !
Like i said i ordered mine, i will see by myself
To attempt to insult me by claiming i have poor eyesight is pathetic. Id argue its the other way around, its you guys that see the phantom blur spots. Possibly it is you all that require an optician ?
So is buying a phone you do not even intend to buy just to attempt to discredit it in front of happy owners. Its rather sad, im glad i have better things to do with my time and money in my life !
If you really do have a N8 ordered, i look forward to your attempts at blurring every picture you take on purpose just to bulls**t your way through this thread.
@ jake20 - i couldnt agree more about the flash of the N8. Mine, even though not as powerful as the Satio seemed to work just as well if not better, as illustrated by that picture comparison i made earlier in this thread.
It was also quite evident on Saturday night, when my girlfriend, my best friend and i went to a nightclub. Inside it was near to pitch black, yet the N8's flash did the job of taking my drunken pictures perfectly. I wont post any shaming pictures however, since i was pretty drunk !

Do you see blur on this photo?
Again, no..

@etaab
other people wasting their time searching in the internet about images taken by n8 with blurd spots, why searching if some are already here in this thread?, maybe because they can't find any blurd spot in your shots
Exactly ! its pathetic ! yet nobody apart from Sassho said there were any blur spots in my images. Then, when he did, i quickly argued there was not and nobody backed him up !

etaab,I didn't want to insult you (sorry about that), I can say this with an apparent sense of humor because you did not seem in good faith about this.
Be honest and tell me if you see something on top of this picture!

I see sky. If you mean any blurring, i see lots of it, in fact its nearly the whole image. Clearly its not a very good picture and the person that took it didnt do a good job at holding the phone still. It does not really illustrate anything.
For someone who has taken many many pictures over the years and posted them here on Esato, you seem stubbornly persistent in discrediting the N8. Nothing you say makes me think you're approaching this from a rational standpoint, rather a biased anti-N8 standpoint.
When i first posted my first N8 pictures in this thread you said the Satio took better images, when clearly it did not. You've lost your credibility in my eyes. Remember also, you openly admit in the Satio pictures thread you post all your pictures mainly with auto settings. Therefore anything advanced photographic wise clearly does not interest you ?

So listen up !
I had a lot of phones since 10 years (including many Nokia) and the problem of blur in the photos has long existed on many models (especially Nokia). For example I had 3 N82 with this problem! I also noticed that with N80, N73, N95... Maybe i am too demanding for the image quality.
Of course most users will not even notice this "detail" but I do!
Should be a bit serious, I noticed that in several reviews of N8, others have noticed too. I am familiar with a member of french forums who work now for several years for Sony Ericsson, he also know this problem, At the time he changed his k750i 9 times to find one without this problem ! (before he work for SE).
So it's not you who will tell me that this problem does not exist, it's been years that I love taking pictures with my phones and I am very attentive to this detail.
I said that pictures taken with Satio in daylight seems better, look better especially for the colours without being too over saturated either (as for the case for years with the N82, N95, N96, N97, N85, 6220 classic... with their yellow tint, oversharpening, over contrast and so on). In other conditions of shots the N8 is better than Satio.
I take my pics mostly without settings when i thing it's not necessary, sometimes i play with the exposure, white balance, flash or not ect... Many people miss their shots simply because they do not know the setting of exposure !
Well, we'll stop with that for nothing, i see blur, you see nothing, everyone is happy !
I'll post pictures soon when I received my N8 maybe this week
sorry for my English, it took me 30 minutes to write this post!

Any N8 pictures you post i wont really be interested in. I find the fact you're buying a N8 to simply discredit it immature and sad.
I dont doubt some N8 pictures are blurry, but that tends to be a problem with the user rather than the hardware. My first N8 shots were slightly blurry due to my own problems using the N8.
Im not saying the N8 is perfect, but to suggest it produces such consistently poor and blurry images is false.

No i don't take a N8 for prove that it's bad(i said that a bit jokingly), i just want to remplace my Satio i have for almost a year .
N8 seems good with a lot of novelty a capacitive screen, I just hope not to be disappointed by the camera for the reasons you know. I also use my iPhone 4 for the rest of time.
I have no problem with you, I'm Esato reader for years and I often see your nickname and i say you're probably a very nice member of Esato.
I'm not as weird as Sassho or plank (sorry guys)
Peace.

Before this goes out of control I would like to add that most of the N8 pictures David pointed do indeed have some blur spots. They are not apparent when if you are viewing the smaller version but if you are look at it 100% size, you will be able to spot those blur areas. Strange to me though they are random so it isn't too bad (at least it's not a systematic problem, could be hand grease). Hope Nokia has an answer for it. Like you all, I owned the Satio and never had such problem in my pictures.

Like I said not everyone is good at photography and Not all bought N8 are Good photographers that knows how to handle and take pictures but either good or not good can have a mistake, so if there's a problem with pics dont simply judge N8 and consider a human error and not a camera error.
