Sony should adopt the same solution as HTC with U11/U11+ by placing the DAC+AMP on the USB-C to 3.5mm adapter.
This could be even "so so"... I'm sure it will sound a lot better than the crap inside the box of latest flagships.
I hope not:
1- They should retain the 3.5mm plug.
2- USB-C should use standard USB-C Audio. In case one wanted to use standard Type-C headphone.
3- They could provide an optional USB-C to 3.5mm adapter with more higher-end DAC & AMP for those of us wants higher quality.

A bit soft at full 48MP resolution, but still LOADS of details. Really hoping the XZ4 and next Premium are either using this or an exclusive variant.

Not a flagship render:
-not even laser AF - no cam button - the bottom part similar to XA3 renders (probably plastic back)
It looks awesome though. The color, bezels quite good but the display image looks fake. So either an upper midrange or just an indie concept.

At 48 of course it wont look good.
But if you scale to 12, it may be better than many phones...
That is why ppl are kinda unfair to Sony...
If you use the gsmarena tool and scale to 8 or 12, even older xperia can beat newer phones..
Choose XZs x Xs Max at 8MP, you guys will be very surprised..
The imx586 is 1/2".
Gossips say Sony would use a 1/1.8" with paired with imx379 (monochrome version of 380. Used for Premium)
