does it have to be a script for fMA? you can connect to your phone via window's hyperterminal, and see the results of AT commands you send to your phone.

@GOwin
Just to see the results of the AT commands, we can use FMA itself in the -debug mode. I am intersted in the how to of what I asked for and if this was possible.

BTW, my link is IrDa (USB based dongle), and not BT.

i had the same problem as blahblah and i have the connect on startup and autoconnect disabled.

i have a t68i firmware r8a015 and fma 9.9.
i use xp pro and have the microsoft bluetooth dongle that came with my keyboard and mouse.

i used to have firmware 3 and the previous fma and things worked ok.

when i sent my phone in for upgrade, i put all my contacts onto the sim card. when i got the phone back, i lost all my pics, contacts off the phone itself. i got the numbers back on from the sim.

i paired the phone to the pc - no problem.
i open up fma and can connect to the phone, but i get the synch aborted error. at the bottom it says...

"error sending telecom/pb/luid/0000D7000000.vcf not found"

also all my contacts are screwed up when i view them on the pc. the names is the surname and the surname shows up as organization. the number types (fax, mobile, etc) are also messed up.
when i click on the sim tab - nothing just an empty grid.
nothing on the local machine either.

someone please help!!!

thanks!

Could you please post a few of the debug lines following "Obex session ended"? this could be the "stray OK after OBEX" problem, which seems to appear on T610 as well as T300...

@akilan

Could you copy MobileAgent.exe to another directory (a clean one, without data files) and try to run it to get a clean sync? Will that work? If not, please post debug log of the sync, or rather, mail me the log on sourceforge (i'm bufflig there too, see the list of FMA dev's).

Cheers,
/Patrik

use the serial port option instead.

your BT software installation creates several BT com ports in your computer, just configure your fMA to use those ports.

check the Technical forum for more info about billionton adapters. i think there are several threads there about this brand

@crino @float
A likely display error in FMA: I did some experiments by actually measuring the charging current, observing discharge and charging times. The 'Current Charge' now displayed is low by a factor of 10. When it says 25ma it should be 250ma. This change appears to match the spec of theAT*EBCA command output -- the icharge does not have a scaling factor. (Also watching the output in the debug window). However there appears to be an error in their spec for iphone, the 'Consumption' you show now is correct. Yes, you have devided the value by 10 correctly, even though the spec does not mention this. How did you figure this out? !!

Another difficult to find item: The battery voltage appears on vbat3 when the charger is on, and on vbat4 when the charger is off. When the charger is off, the last charging current value continues to appear in icharge. So when vbat3 is 0, the 'Current Charge' needs to be shown as 0! (In fact the battery voltage apears to be on vbat1, when the call is in progress -- this might depend on battery type too. But this does not affect the previous adjustment need to be made.) BTW, it may be more consistent with Battery Voltage to use the label Charging Current (instead of Current Charge, even though the spec uses such funny phrases everywhere).

I think there are a few more things I can help you with. If interested please send me PM. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for your reply . Here's the additional debug log you requested:

13:03:23:044 [TX] AT*EOBEX
13:03:23:124 [RX] CONNECT
13:03:23:134 Obex Session Established
13:03:23:194 Obex negotiated: PacketSize=512
13:03:23:204 Retrieving telecom/pb.vcf
13:05:40:672 Retrieving telecom/pb/luid/cc.log
13:05:40:772 Obex Session Ended
13:05:40:812 [TX] AT+CPBS="ME"
13:05:40:822 [RX] OK
13:05:40:832 [TX] AT+CPBR=?
13:05:41:013 [RX] OK
13:05:45:058 [TX] AT+CBC
13:05:45:249 [RX] +CBC: 0,63
13:05:45:379 [RX] OK

BTW, I am using R8A015. On serial through Billionton bluetooth.

@Tep

Hi,
Thanks, just the lines I was "hoping" for. The snippet:
Quote:
13:05:40:832 [TX] AT+CPBR=?
13:05:41:013 [RX] OK

tells us this is the "stray OK" problem. I've submitted a fix into CVS on sourceforge, it will get fixed in the next release.

Cheers

I am seeing a minor problem here. Is this known? When I first start FMA in debug mode, the debug window does not open (it opens transiently and closes immediately). But if I attempt to open fma again (while the first fma window is still open), I get a message to the effect that fma is already open, but this time the debug window comes up fine.
