can see ur picture's have very bad blur in them if i was you i would take the phone back and get it changed as some other people's are blur free and other's have blur in them i think it might be a len's slightly out of place maybe??

Yeah, that's what I assume too... Or rather, the motor for the auto-focus doesn't move the lens straight forward and back, but "tilts" it...

My dilemma here: Can't return the phone and get it replaced. My only option is to get it repaired, which requires for it to be sent to SE - which in turn will take 3-5 weeks. Just bought a new phone (because the old one died after 5 years of heavy service), and now I have to live without it for 3-5 weeks? For now, I've written SE asking them if they have this problem figured out, because if they haven't, there's no use in me returning it to them.

well the problem is i can't go exchange it, it's been too long now. and the weird thing is that it only happens on outdoor pictures, indoor pictures and macro mode shots, and all close-ups and everything are perfectly fine... so i don't know what to do, i guess just live with it. unless Sony Ericsson can repair it somehow later on...

How many... My guess is "quite a few", since I've seen a lot of people mention it here, a lot of people who don't really use the camera won't notice, and hence we won't hear from them, and a lot of people who DO use the camera might either not really notice it, or think it's their own fault or it's a general issue that can't be fixed - i.e. "it's supposed to be that way".

Hmmm... As expected, the support center didn't actually answer my question about whether they knew what was up with the blurriness. Instead, they simply asked me to send it for repair, or use some kind of "7 day unwrapping guarantee" (losely translated - I have no idea what is, never heard the word before in Danish, and Google reveals that no site on earth actually mentions that word ), which SE gives to the retailer. My guess is it means I CAN return it within 7 days, with no expense for me or the retailer? Guess I'll try...

i think it might be something to do with the place meant of the len's and if slightly out you will get the blurness problem...mine seem to be ok not really any blur in them but i have a little fault with the puzzle game freezing and would rather change the phone..the one i have now was made in w20.. couple of picture's taken from mine...
