Yes, but it got automatically updated on 1.6... I guess Google is bringing the 2.2 experience Atleast for android market to all... now just waiting for SE to catch up and get the firmware on par..

Actually SE contemplating on multitouch support IS something new as I was under the impression that there's a hardware limitation which prevents it from being implemented on X10.

I think it's just another mistake. I won't believe that untill I don't see it in action.

Yeah that multi-touch statement must be a mistake. Just like the Sony Style posters saying that the US version of the X10 would have multi-touch. Either that or they mean they intend to provide substitute solutions for multi-touch functions (like the long touch zoom that was demoed on the minis) but it was lost in translation.

I think there was a lot to mull over in that Q&A. He mentioned the next generation of Xperias will all feature the latest version of the operating system. The X10 was conceived when the company was in the middle of a huge transition and I think they'll really get into gear only from next year onwards.

@goldenface
I second that.
Hopefully there will be much better device than X10.
Don't get me wrong I love my X10, the looks, the way it works.
But could be much better on camera, facebook integration and application wise
