Calm down man, I didn't even mentioned anything bad about Nokia. Just saying what it seems like. Also, I didn't mention anything about flagship or not. So don't point fingers at me. I don't really care what you'd choose over what, it has nothing to do with me or my opinion.

I think X1 will be more expensive, but may be not because it has better specs, but because of WM that's pushing up the price.

since i'm not waiting for X1, as Paris Maria and Shiho are waiting in the queue, is fine with me if X1 is the most expensive phone SE will produced this year. looking at the pricetag of the G series, i'm quite optimistic the price of the next annoucement will be reasonable hopefully.............

As i have always observed, Pocket PCs tend to be much more expensive tha PDA phones/smartphones. and given the fact that X1 has one of the finest specs inside we could have ever seen on a pocket PC it is expected that the price will be sky high.

Imvho UIQ 3.3 really looks flashier. S60 touch UI did not changed that much compared to hardscreen S60. well at least UIQ 3.3 has done some new "paint jobs"(as you call it) add to that some longer transition effects (as mizzle stated) and it make the phone look newer and better. though we're bound to see more on the two new platforms soon.
add to that the pleasant dashboard app that integrates/renders widgets as nice as the implementation on Samsung F480.

IMO A paint job and nice transitions isnt what i base my conclusions on. S60 has always been the leader for smartphones its market share proves this.
