Let's look back into history, shall we?

Xperia X10 - 1.6. Updated to 2.1 and 2.3 = 2

Xperia Arc = 2.3 Updated to 4.0 = 1

Xperia S - 2.3, Updated to 4.0 and 4.1 = 2

Xperia T - 4.0, updated to 4.1 and will be updated to 5.0 = 2

You can now guess how many updates 2013 phones may get

OT:

It's a good thing that they are splitting the jobs. They dont seem to get it right everytime and it really pisses me off. I know they have the potential to release an amazing phone.

Hopefully, they will leave Lund be and let them do their stuff and focus on their OWN job.

Sony is really in par with Samsung in terms of update ..

However, what makes Sony behind Samsung visually is That Sony release their headset with Older Android version..

Samsung will soon add the Second update to S3 with Android 4.2

Sony also will add the Second update to Xperia S with Android 4.1
...

I wish Sony will jump Android 4.2 For Xperia Z ,, and update it to Android 5.0 directly ..

Give me one reason not to buy the purple Z when it comes out for my carrier in a week or two?
I need a solid rumor! Dont care for no phablet. I want high resolution on smaller (4.3 inch) screens.

Ray3 is postponed till Q1 2014?

I don't know about it being Q1 in 2014 but the Ray 3 has definitely been delayed to 2014 (originally was going to release December 2013). If you can't wait until then and need a phone with a screen size between 4" and 5" , then I would say get the Dogo which should be released May (Possibly June) 2013. That's what I'm unfortunately going to have to probably do, despite my contract ending in September (was thinking of getting the Honami "One Sony"), because my current phone is on it's last legs and my backups seem to be not working as well when I revert to them. I'll probably have to pay off the remaining months of my contract (£60 or £80) and get the Dogo.

If your looking for compact phone then you should get ZL instead. The only thing I find bad on Z is the bad placement of speaker.

it is really Strange How Sony now make no Leaks about their up-coming Devices..

there is actually more leaks information about Note 3, than what we might knnow about Sony Phablet..

if it's exist actually !
