Is there an icon for the web feeds? I'm used to the RSS feed icon in the Pxxx series. However, I don't see a clickable icon that the user guide discussed.

I second that question!
Probably a 3rd party solution...

So what browser do you use???
I'm using Opera Mobile which as you probably know is preinstalled. It's much better than IE.

Have to admit, i'm an old fashioned kinda guy, and i'm happy with Pocket Internet Explorer.
For the amount that i surf on my X1, it does all i want it to do, and i find Opera (preinstalled) a little too different, for me.
I do most of my surfing at home, on the PC, (still using I.E. !) so i dont spend too much time surfing with X1.
I just find I.E. comfortable, so P.I.E. fits better for me.
I did use Opera mini on my previous phone (K800i), and liked it a lot, but saw no reason to try it on X1, with 2 browsers already on it.

with regards to the media panel, there does seem to be a number of people around the net, complaining about this issue of it picking up the bitmaps from (mostly) satnav programs.
It is to be hoped that SE can put some enhanced usability into this with an update.
It would be nice to be able to choose which folders it uses as its library, because otherwise, it is a good app. In my opinion, of course.
Until then, i have reduced it to an app, using Pubbas app, and no longer have it as a panel. I find Resco Photo Viewer is better at this time for my media needs.

Sorry if this has been asked before but what is the best way to watch video - like divx/xvid. Been doing some reading and conflicting reports (some say Coreplayer full version is good), some say nothing works? Is it best to just convert everything?
Also, from the media panel (the Sony PSP style one), can you change what videos open in, for example if you download another program like Coreplayer can you have the links open up in that? Sorry if this is a basic question, just not owned a Windows Mobile before
Thanks

You can configure an entire panel of RSS feeds if you like. Just start a Sony Ericsson panel and configure it with up to 10 RSS feeds.

@Whybe
Understood. However, having to navigate to a different panel does not provide the same features as the Pxxx series handsets. I was hoping to see a clicable icon, similar to that of an Envelope for sms/email that flashes when new feeds are downloaded. This would allow me to keep the phone idle on the default Panel without having to manually navigate between panels, just to see if there are new feeds. I am currently using SE Panel #2. I would say it would be helpful to have a little clickable RSS icon that flashes with new news feeds.

Heh, sure I know and use it.
I was hoping somebody used SkyFire here and will share with feedback.
I also use Opera Mini 4.2. Actually I use internet and email on my phone as much as on PC, so Opera Mini lets save data..

Regarding RSS, yes you can configure it on Panel.
However how to add it like it was on UIQ??
