Is there anyone able to update with CDA /6 (Hong Kong chinese version)?
I am still running Organizer R2A05, sigh. I am so close to just change CDA with KulanKendi now. But I am going to Hong Kong this summer (in two months), maybe I should wait until then.
By the way, even though I am running R2A05, my phone doesn't really crash and that's why I am able to stand it still.
If I am not wrong, the "P990 Trade Hong Kong" as it is called in the EMMA 3 system has also been upgraded to R5A17. Just run SEUS on your phone and see if SEUS has an update for you.
Just ran SEUS, still no update available. I might re-install SEUS to try again.

The camera is working good on my current FW, so it sounds like they messed it up. Should be easy enough to fix.
With regards to quick office, I am not sure when the performance can be improved, but I am sure it can be improved.
Besides, if a game like Vijay Singh Golf which requires much more processing power and memory can run so smoothly on this phone then any "Office" application should run like a dream.

Has anybody any insight as to what SE fixed to get the battery life so much better in this firmware release ? ... or is it something that the network provider has control over in their customised update ... ie like switching off transitions as default ?

I also see the flickering screen on the P990. But I also see it on SEk700, K750, k800 Nokia N80, 6280 etc. But not as clear as on the P990. I use a light bacground to bring the problem to a minimum. Can U please tell me if U didnt see it on your old P990?

On my old p990 from the first batch i couldnt see any stripes at all. i borrowed another one from a friend, and he's screen was good as well. At the shop they confirmed it, so im sending it back on tuesday. if you have those stripes i recommend you to send it back on warranty.
