appforge booster is used to run VB programs. So it is not needed if you are not planning to use these type of softwares.

@xerx
Ako sinubukan ko.. pagkatapos kong mag-install.. ayaw na mag-backup ng fone ko. hindi na rin ako makapag-restore.
nag-master reset pa ako.
madalas sya mangyari (based on other forums..) but not all the time.
good luck na lang

Hello there. Friend of mine is selling me his P800 that is Smart locked. The thing is, I am a Globe user. I heard from some SE people though that unlocking the phone sometimes causes the P800 to crash. Is this true?

You can order a 128MB MS DUO for 5,300php from this site:
http://www.elektroniksdepot.com/phone.htm
They are very reliable and they charge COD (no need to give credit card info). I have already purchased a 128MB MS DUO from them two weeks ago. (5,600php nga lang

)
They are very prompt -- I got my MS DUO 3 days after placing my order.

Have the p800 updated @ any SE Center. Firmware updates causes the phone to be unlocked!

@KuyaJay, really? Just curious, coz I called SESS this evening and they said don't unlock it or it might crash. The threads from abroad on the other hand, say that when you unlock it, upgrading the firmware sometimes "re" locks the phone to its original service provider.
Does that mean medyo low tech yung providers natin kaya na-uunlock siya after a firmware upgrade?
