Well the back camera is 4.7MP according to that info, which would say low end to me. E2XXX also spells entry level. I'd say this was well under £100.
The Xperia E1 was model No D2004.

looks like another flop to me, qHD still in 2015? Should be 720p minimum for mid range. How much do they even save really, 5 bucks? I know they can be trying to make the Z3C looks more compelling but you are just shooting yourself in the foot when other low end phones are using much higher res panels. Screen quality is a huge factor when people are checking out your phones on a booth with instant impression. This should be a low end phone for 150 bucks MAX.
Agree 100%

Even 150 USD is to much for such a device. Releasing it in India or China would be plain stupid (DOA), considering the huge competition from China (Xiaomi Redmi 2, Meizu blue Charm...). Maybe there are some emerging markets left without presence of chinese companies where Sony is able to sell a few Xperias. Anyway like Giatroo already said, qhd in 2015 is just a no-go.

Both Samsung and HTC have both announced entry level phones due for release this year both with similar sized display but even lower resolution screens. The HTC Desire 320 has a 4.5" 480x854 display and the Samsung J1 has a 4.3" 400x800 display. So in comparison the Sony actually has the upper hand having a qHD display as the rest of the specs between all 3 devices are very similar. It will all come down to actual pricing at the end of the day. All 3 however should be under £100 without question.

^ True. It's all about the price.

I just checked, the BLU is 180 USD, it has 5' HD screen, 8 gig internal storage, 8MP camera and dual sim. And that phone goes on sale version often I have even seen it for 130 CAD. Whatever the e2033 is, looks like an instant flop to sell. Only way to get this out is 0 dollar 2 years contract. Sony should be just be marginally better than whatever Samsung or HTC is doing, since everyone is getting their ass kicked by those Chinese manufacturer. Low end phone in 2015 should be at least at Galaxy S3 level, and possibly even better with the advancement of technology.

^ BLU as of now don't really a presence here in Europe and with that being Sony's biggest market they may just get a fair amount of sales again if they can keep the price low.

MS also have a lot of success with those low end phones based on their financial report, Xiaomi also have lots of success with theirs. Samsung have already lost their ground to Xiaomi in China. Sony need to learn what works and what fail from the others. Selling low end phones with paper thin profit margin but in large quantity is the only way to go in China. Sony should focus on very low end and high end line up, don't waste any time on mid rage, discounting flagship from previous years before to compete with other midrange while clearing out the old inventory at the same time is probably cheaper for them.

The shipment date of IMX230 is on April 2015 so I think it's safe to assume that Z4 will be released on or after April, right?

Shipping in April I'd imagine will be to other companies, Sony themselves have probably had it is mass production for its own devices for a short while now meaning its likely to be only available on the Z4 range in 1ST half of the year then maybe the like of the Note 4 or any other device launched from Q3 onwards could have that sensor on board.
