I found this on a site called mobile57...
"The 2019 Sony flagship smartphone, the Xperia XZ4 is rumored to launch with a 6.5in IPS LCD Display, 21:9 aspect ratio, FHD+ resolution, Triple Rear Cameras, Dual Selfie Snappers, 3D facial Unlock, Snapdragon 855 chipset, Octa-core 7nm processor, Adreno 640 GPU, 4/6/8 GB RAM, 64/128/256 GB ROM, probably 512GB variant, and a long-lasting battery with Fast and Wireless Charging support. It will enable 5G connectivity. Sony Smartphone will offer you the distinguish camera experiences with amazing Super Night Shoot mode, 960fps Slow-mo recording at 1080p, and many more"
There are for other phones too. Sometimes they use words IT IS RUMORED TO HAVE and sometimes IT WILL HAVE..
Find X2, Pixel 4, U13+, OP7.
By the way.... I think vivo is going to bring a phone with glass frame, like one of Sony's concept design. I just dont remember the name.
*** BAD NEWS = Mesa told Digital Trends that there wont be XZ4c. Low demand for small screens ..

I am glad Sony are making changes at executive level. That's just want I wanted to see. Now hopefully this is true that we get to see a small glimpse of the direction Sony is heading to.

Why would they drop the resolution of the display back down to FHD+ when the XZ3 is using a 1440p display?

Executive changes are good but it takes times to trickle down to design departments. The top guys would have said they want the phone to be this and that but it's still the designers and engineers who have to make it a reality. We are already seeing the changes which was the XZ3 so let's see how they develop.
Regarding mobile57, i don't think the XZ4 will be LCD, they wouldn't go backwards like that. My concern is about whether the Compact and Premium will be OLED, 4K OLED would be something beautiful to behold.
I'm sure XZ4 Compact will at least appear in Japan.

Compact line is probably dead, according to the interview.
They want to be first 4K oled, no way they wait IFA and see note10 comes first.
I think they are going to kill Compact, Ultra and Plus.
Keeping 2 flagships ( 4K and QHD), XA and L3.
How many have passed FCC?

I wear 32 waist short leg skinny jeans, a lot of phones feel very uncomfortable in my pocket and I'm always very active at work. I really appreciate small phones, it's about comfort and practicality so if there's no Compact then I guess I'm done unfortunately. If a phone doesn't fit nicely in my pocket I dismiss it immediately no matter how amazing it is. I suppose the S9 or S10 size is what I need now.
