Sony has removed a lot of bloat on the mkii you won't find following apps pre installed although some are available on play store:
Album
3d creator
Lifelog
Sketch
Spotify
File commander
Office suite
Email
Tv sideview
Is Album still supported and updated?
It will be until Xperia 5 reaches EOL. Same goes for Email until Xperia 1 reaches EOL and so on. After that all of it will be abandoned like Calendar which only works on 7 and below.

Sony has to fix the 1080p videos.
Despite being 24mm against 26 of X1, both have same FOV during videos.
It means the EIS has stronger crop on 1 ii, this leads to lower quality.
Video is very soft.

That's disappointing tbh.

They've been doing this since XZ1 as far as I know, 1080p gets huge crop compared to 4K whenever you are shooting with either stabilization, HDR or 60fps. When you film with Steady Shot off, no HDR in 30fp you get crispy details in 1080p. I other words it's not worth filming in such format unless you really need Intelligent active stabilization which apparently is now gone in X1II. On XZ2 Intelligent Active is pretty good, no shake whatsoever even if you are going over cascades or stairs.

1080p from 1 ii seems worse than z series, by far.

His X1 hands-on had over 5 million.
I am surprised the new has lower views.
