yeh I think there are quite a few aspects that can be improved at the moment. the Panels interface is still slow and buggy. Have to soft reset the device every now and then [too often]. and I think the touch screen sensitivity needs to be increase. Also there are a whole list of other things that need to be improved. [perhaps a program to customize the LEDS would be great, or even to use the LEDS as a visualization to music play]. But overall I feel it is a fairly stable device compared the hickups that were experienced during the P1i and esp the P990i launches [bugs took almost a year to fix!].

SO I finally got my X1 today , exciting stuff! But I'm having a few problems transfering my contacts from P990 to the X1. When I sync my P990 with Outlook, for some reason it does not get all the information on contacts, specifically those with more than 1 mobile phone number! Is there a way around this or is this a windows mobile problem?

It's a general Windows problem.
First of all - Outlook does not see all of the numbers.
Secondly, even if WMobile supports many many telephones in your contacts, they have a different label.
So, this idiotic software does not rewrite your existing phones to new cathegories but leaves them, not copied.
It ended like some of my contacts were copied without any telephone number.
Looks like the great ability of adding as many telephones as you want on UIQ was like an dead end - nowhere else supported...

I have to Bluetooth my contacts individually from my P1 to my X1. It copied all the information across fine, but obviously this isn't that practical if you have loads of contacts.

doministry, no I'm not kidding. As I said in my post, it's not practical if you have loads of contacts. I only had 30-40 as the rest were on another Sim card.

Does anyone's X1 suffer from lock-ups, particularly when updating the RSS feeds on the 'today panel'?
I have to reboot my X1 once or twice a day, sometimes I have to remove/insert the battery to get it going again

Did any of you experience the cracks in case that XDA Developers are talking about? Or the plastic near the d-pad starting to peel off?
