I do optimist the delay will worth for software polishing / features etc, it will be big clash with GN3 at a time!
If Sony sort out problems in time (it will be hard work for SMC Lund)
they still remain space to fight with hefty marketing budget from Korean.
In case our rumour 85% correct!
next gen device will introduced in Japan first and follow up globally announce in IFA Berlin, just that stop fu**ing moaning!

One Sony may use SONY screen.
P.S. Yes Sony, not JDI. It's from Sony Electronics and not Sony mobile displays. Probably with Triluminos.

Wait for Sony official numbers. These reports do not post Sony numbers until the official statement by Sony.

I think Sony will go bankrupt in next 5 years because all of their devisions are doing bad; TV division is in bad condition, they have clearly lost the next generation console to Microsoft, the digital imaging market is declining rapidly, mobile division doesn't have any competant product and they don't have any big movie title in coming years it's just the financial arm which is doing good relatively.

@ Randomuser
Does Dogo have the slim bezal as ZL does? It's a key to my dicision of getting ZL or Dogo before the release of One-Sony, thanks.

If it is from Sony electronics, what exactly can we expect in terms of specs? I mean, Sonys small display business was spun off into JDI so what's left to make smartphone displays? Did they rebuild a small display division?
Also, if it is coming from Sony itself, are we still looking at LCD, or is OLED a genuine possibility? It would be interesting if they were using AUOs 5" 1080p OLED screen, but I guess that isn't happening. Nice to hear about triluminos though.

Xperia ZR coming soon? 4.6-inch 720p display, quad-core, water resistant [DOGO]
Sony will shortly launch a new Xperia model called the Xperia ZR. This is believed to the same handset codenamed Dogo with model number C550X. In terms of specifications, the Xperia ZR will have a 4.6-inch (720 x 1280) display, a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm S4 Pro chipset (we’re not sure if this is the newer 600 series), 2GB RAM, a 13MP Exmor RS camera sensor, 8GB internal storage, microSD memory card support and a 2300mAh battery.
The Xperia ZR will also be water resistant with an IP55/IP58 rating. This is higher than the IP55/IP57 rating of the Xperia Z and can be exposed to 1.5 metres of water for 30 minutes.
The design of the handset is more akin to the Xperia ZL than the Xperia Z with its glass body. Whilst we don’t have firm details on dimensions and weight, we understand it will be slightly above 10mm in thickness and around 140g in weight.
