i found this pretty interesting article the other day when searching for shutter speeds to use when taking photos. when using our phones in manual (super) modes, it is sometimes difficult to decide what shutter speed to use, especially since we cannot lock our ISO setting.

could you copy the article to here? I cannot opent the link.

sorry dude, the author prohibits copying the entire article. perhaps you can access it from a friend's house and print it out?

Hello everyone. How are you doing? This week I spent some time for firmware patches, here are some of the pictures from my phone. And as you know, it is k750i cid49. However, the patches is not very stable, I need to play more with it.
Fixed Sharpness:

What do you think about them? I am trying to reduce the initial exposure so that with EM on, overexposure wont happen.

Take care, everyone.

I would like to know which driver is the best for the mxe-60. Would the A4A 9.1 driver work ok with it ? I'm guessing to use it at night i'll have to move over to normal mode so the flash will be in sync. Soon to get my mxe 60 waiting for paypal to confirm some crap. I got a w810i

A4A 9.1 in Normal mode work fine. Ridersky 6.6 also works fine.

yeah i have a copy in my pocket too. i've used it often enough that i'm getting pretty good at making the setting first and then consulting the guide to see if i've made the correct setting. and of course if you use Raider's driver, you can just program the various settings as scenes, which is what i've done.

Beautiful shots! I was using Ridersky previously but I have changed to A4A-9.1 (modded with sharpness 0) due to the better colors (to my eyes) and improved compression (can reach up to 100% in most shots). But I miss the configuration tool, it's really useful. Maybe I'll try to hack the profiles in the code, I've read somewhere a guide on how to do it.
BTW, you may want to check my noise removal guide:

It's very useful for night, noisy pics.

Very interesting guide! I was feeling a little lazy when I first saw your post and initially found it a little complicated however after reading again I see that's very simple actually. I am even planning on creating a "referece card" with the parameters we use so we can carry on the pocket

all shots below with Raider's 6.6 driver. your driver is super stable! all shots with manual settings.

in below shot you can see the same hotel tower as 1st pic, only at night

man,is this really from mobile phone...?just amazing...if its not edited[:D]

Thanks for your reply also would the Ridersky 6.6 in enhanced mode work or would it be out of sync like the A4A 9.1 driver ?
