Right, here be an array of pics of an interesting shop in Edinburgh....ideal for all those Highlander wannabe's, or people looking for hardware designed to relieve generous amounts of physical stress.
These were all taken with the Nokia 3230:
"There can be only one!" Mc Wanqa checks out some of the er...merchandise. Look at ths size of these broadswords and claymores...and that's all 1.84m of Mc Wanqa with that sword...these okes must've had some serious upper torso strength from wielding these weapons...
Imagine trying to go through customs with some of these...
The bargain bin:
Shields n' more stuff:
More on the way...

My word, some coll stuff there Wanqa!Reminds me of a funny video clip we have from some american cop show that looked like a reality show...they had the dungeon master: a guy who would always injure his friends playing dress up dungeons and dragons...the funniest clip! Look for this phrase to find it: "I am wearing my boots of escaping" The show was called Reno 911...Okay, for those with bandwidth, go here to see it:
http://video.google.com/video[....]8620028295602605989&q=reno+911
So for everyone with fast(cheap) internet, I got some video blogs on my Myspace site...go check it out...for those with expensive internet, it is about 2-5 meg a post, i recon, unless Myspace made it significant increase in the size..then it's a no-no...I recon it's not worth it.
http://www.myspace.com/francoislr
I am still threatening to make it a music site, but I tried my track on an Indian sound system, the best usually in car sound, and all my mids were gone, so it is back to the mixer....
So we are going to Margate on Saturday, back on Tuesday so that Jim can fly back to the UK...Damn! We were having so much fun!
I discovered a new show guys...has anyone ever seen it? It is called Mystery Science Theatre 3000...what a funny show! The story is this guy who gets kidnapped by a mad professor who wants to take over the world, so he uses this chap to experiment on him. His plan, find the one b-side movie/show/video that will break a human's spirit. So the guy has these two robots along for the trip. Each episode they watch a bad movie from back in the day, or a video, and they make funny comments about everything/anything...If anyone has a chance to see it, it is well worth it! Trying to get my grubby little paws on some shows, but they are not too easy to come by, despite the huge following back in the day. Aparently it ran for 11 seasons, 14-24 or so episodes a season, and think it was a long show, like 2 hours long....
Enough from me: very busy, so I am very quiet. Post again soon though!

@ francois,
Checked your blog out. Nice mugshot of you there.
I see your one connection referred to the Christian band Skillet. My wife really digs their song 'Rest' off their 'Invincible' album.
I'm not sure if you know of these 2 websites, but just check out their inventories. Er..certainly not praise and worship as such...everything from Christian hip hop to grindcore, industrial, experimental, ska, progressive rock, thrash metal, doom metal, etc. etc:

@da wanqsta: I absolutely love that mask...The area covering the skull needs to chopped off and it would be perfect.
I believe that's the first proper picture we've seen of the wanqsta
@jmash: I'm also excited about the prospect of HDTV, DStv say they'll probably start with some sort of service in 2008...I'm guessing with the Beijing Olympics. Right now those LCD tv's are still too expensive and you don't exactly know what you're paying for because there's so much confusion regarding picture standards and things like HDMI.

Proper pic? LOL, perhaps it is a good thing that my dodgy ponytail is tucked away there...a lot less disturbing I guess...
Just been checking out the Carphone Warehouse website's 'coming soon' section. The W850i and W710i are both due in CPW stores next month, but it now says that the W950i will only be available from 'early 2007'....
http://www.carphonewarehouse.[....]ILS&manu=SONYERIC&hand=SOEW950
Here we go again...
So much for the initial October release, although O2's site still stipulates October availability.

Its just so heavy, perfect for dropping and hitting people with. I dropped it again in the chemist half an hour ago, sending the battery and memory card flying. And with every drop it just gets speedier.
I have a Nokia 9210, now that is a piece of self defence equipment... and i like the size of the internal keybord for sending sms (which is pretty much all the monster is good for)

@Rhino: Keep that one safe...it's a certified classic.
Just got an sms from Vodacom telling me that I had to take my phone into the nearest Vodacare outlet as they've got new firmware out for my phone. I just hope things gets speeded up and it handles multi-tasking much better.
