@ francoislr : I know the feeling. I have mailed them before about taking forever to update their site, but it never helps. They just take their sweet time and do it a few months later - PATHETIC!!!

@francois: I don't think all the blame can be laid at the door of Vodacom(Vodacrap if you ask the kids who had been abusing free data). AFAIK Nokia have a good relationship with the networks...that's one of the reason they're the biggest cellphone maker in the world. Why can't

do the same. The other week I was talking to the chap at a Cell C franchise and he was bitching about the fact that the M600i had been launched on their network but they were still waiting for dummy models from

sales reps...WTF?
It should also be said that there should be no excuse for Vodacom not updating their website with settings for the latest phones...BTW, doesn't the W900 have a settings wizard that downloads settings automatically? It was a nifty feature in both my K700 and P910...if I had waited for Vodacom's USSD menu I'd still be without an internet connection on my phone.
Off topic: I saw the new ad for the K800i last night featuring Maria Sharapova.
Speaking of ads, don't you guys just love that new kulula.com ad featuring all these people dancing? Along with the Nandos ads (silly inventions+blind boxer) the new one from Kulala is absolutely brilliant...makes me look forward to watching tv.

Or you could do what all sensible computer users do.. buy an Apple and watch HD QuickTime movies downloaded from the Apple website. We've been doing it for years

@da monkey: All of us would love a Mac. Hell, I love that new MacBook Pro but my love goes out the door when I see the prices they're selling for.

Damn, Wanqa, i LOVE the security dude that's posted outside that memorabilia store, just what i need in school sometimes!
This morning we drove slapbang into a protest march. All roads were blocked off, effectively preventing my colleague and i from getting to work, and forcing us to backtrack, whilst dodging burning debris and the odd assorted blockade.
Ja nee, sometimes it's fun and other times it's just plain lekker!

@ brix, it might have some way to get those settings, but the point is more that it says I got a 6220 or w800i when I log in. The best I can choose. But I highly suspect the branding takes that ability away. I cannot even edit my internet settings, the settings that came with the phone. Delete? No, it is a virus on my system.
@ wanqa, I dig skillet, always enjoyed them, but yeah, I am not too big on lots of Christian music. Music can't be Christian, just the people in the band. There are few bands that I really enjoyed under the Cristian label, and they are pretty much our 2 exports, namely Tree63 and Benjamin Gate, and the other one I like is Relient K. Like I said, I listen to just about anything, but along with that, everything in moderation=)

It's costs as much as a PC - and don't forget that it includes most of the software you'll ever need. An OS update to the next OS release costs about R1000.00 and all current OS updates are free. Try getting Vista for that price.
I've not been around so this may been mentioned - HD and DVBH are both conditions of our 2010 WC award. Both services have to up and running within the coming months.

Check this article out guys. It is called "Steve Irwin fans turn on stingrays":

I love saying "Typical Americans", but here I can say, Typical Auz!
And now for my "Typical Americans/British" thing, once again, Steve Irwin:
Buy Steve Irwin dead on eBay!
