I wonder if SE has realized that they have a cult like user following - not unlike Apple has always had theirs in the computing space. ESATO has grown this user base - I can attest to that almost being here for 8yrs on & off.

I agree. And its this loyal fan base that's saving them from serious embarassment. I myself have been around fr 7-8 years, always sticking to their products. The question is how long can they continue in the same vein? Its just now that things have started looking good, but I'd love to see them going back to their innovative, gamechanging ways, their bottomline might not permit that currently, but surely hoping for it in the near future.

2011, I think, will see SE back to its best. Although, it seems to have left behind the Cyber-shot and Walkman devices. Is this a good thing?

It's not that Ericsson is not supporting this company but that Sony has too many brands that are being used by SE that makes you see more of Sony than Ericsson.

Sadly, this one of the major reasons why some clueless and ignorant people start screaming 'Sony should dump Ericsson'.

Let's not forget that SE is an entirely separate company with its own identity.

this show how poor you know about the company.

there's many other remark commenting about this

but don't you know SE is using Ericsson mobile platform?

Ericsson stressed on the day they allow the mobile phone unit to merge with Sony is to leverage Sony experience in consumer electronics while they offer their know how in mobile network to form SE.
