I think, Sony has better battery life than Samsung. ....and if I'm not mistaken, since long time ago, Samsung was known as having weak battery life.
I have Samsung S3 (got it free).... and the battery life is not good and the charging time is very long (maybe because its battery size). I like Xperia Arc... quick charging time and longer battery life.
but...I'm going to buy Xperia Z and I believe, it will have the best battery life.

So I guess that was a "bad" prototype, Considering the fact that these were taken at CES.

They weren't taken at CES. The article says 'they were able to test the Xperia Z yesterday'. Yesterday being 29th Jan, with the report being published on 30th. Must have been some local Sony France show.
