Looks very similar to XA2 Ultra, but the TOP and BOTTOM are different...

The XA Ultra phones have never been cheap so it should have a smaller chin and forehead regardless of the upgrades to processor and stuff. I think Q4 sales for the XZ1 and Compact will be poor purely because they didn't trim the bezels despite both phones being great. I don't think you can push these designs anymore for this price. Also, why buy XA2 Ultra when the XA1 Ultra looks almost the same and is half the price? FPS and Snapdragon? I don't think so.

Moto G is still a strong seller.
Galaxy J5 and J7 sell tons yearly. As much as S series.
J3 was #2 in 2016-17 ....
G6 has poor sales, nothing to do with cpu 821.
I doubt u11+ will turn things around fot HTC.
Sony does not sell everywhere.
Many ppl dont even know they make smartphones.
My family does because of mine.
Not only smartphones.. Except PS, there is no other product advertised on tv.
In my city you find XA 2016 series and E5 only.
Z3+ was last high end unlocked around.
Z5 only carrier..
XZ and X never came here...
Many ppl still go to stores and buy their phones.
They do even know they have more options and cheaper prices on internet.
XA 2016 here was about 1800 at first. On Sony website it must be now about 900.
On other e-stores you can get it for 700.
If you go to any department store XA, must be still 1200.
So ppl see that J5 has same HD screen, 16GB. Also dual sim. For 900.
Which one are they buying?
J5... They probably think both are almost equal.
If ppl believe both are similar, they will end up with cheaper option.
Every review a few of main tech site give more importance to bezels than good stuff phone has.
But ignore the fact Apple and Motorola use screen/body lower than 70%.
Androidpit slaughtered XZ1 and XA1. Many sites loved both.
Phone Arena gave 8.7 to XZP and 8.2 to U11, then 8.7 to G6 and OP5.
So the loop that showed up in late 2016 is dated, but to be a mix of iphone 6 and a 2012 galaxy is cool.
XZP is ugly but Z2 Force, i8+, mi6 and P10+ are cute according to many tech sites.
