This " I am gonna sue you if you say 💩 about my product " is more common than you imagine.
How many devices for H2 2022? Not counting variants (japanses unlocked or carrier phones).
BONUS : samples of 12s Ultra are nothing special. I expected more.

Only one device left for 2022, PDX-224 aka next gen 5. It already passed PVT (production validation testing) and well onto production
Basically its a mini 1IV, if you like the 1IV but want a smaller phone, there you have it. The rest is almost the same, even sharing the "furnace" characteristic

Offtopic but in my opinion the less shitty phone of 2022, barring the upcoming Chinese 8G2 devices in Nov/Dec (from the same mfg
). Good cam/video recording quality, specsheet eye candy, actual competent cooling design
, customizable firmware with root, fast update speed. Others such as BBK smartphones have plenty of downsides such as no root on latest flagships, also a bunch of shitty bugs that they dont care to fix like aptX Adaptive codec not usable as BBK pushing the LHDC codec to its user. As an audiophile I vote with my wallet
Samsung, eh...

Looks like I need to lose my hopes to see any upper midrange or flagship with LCD. 😥
Only thing left is to buy old phone like xz1 or xz2 and keep it 6 years.
Gizmochina review was kinda hard on it. He mentions huge screen blue angle colour shift, low PMW (probably 240Hz at most), poor executed DC dimming , no 4K for front cam. Some HDR issues.
Best part of the review is when he says he hopes they give usb 3.0 before he dies. 🤣😂
It is too bizarre that phone that records 8K has usb c 2.0 . It is 20x slower than the usb 3.2 gen 2 of Pro-i.
Some ppl believe it is related to their charging tech. BBK flagships use 3.1 with fast charging.
About fast charging. I do not understand why ppl do not seem to care the fact these phones get super hot while charging. Some videos on youtube show xiaomi phones over 50 celsius, but ppl seem to ignore this is bad for battery .

I tried the 1iv and the heating is a major problem, can't use the camera and even the recent hot weather has made it worse. I'm going to skip this generation.

Someone on reddit says CPU Z claims his 10iii has SD750, not 690.
How?

I'm using it from a while and it's not so "tragic". Yeah, it becomes very warm sometimes, but it's pretty ok in a normal daily use.

How?
CPU-Z simply using the built-in database that the devs put it. If the device is new they will try to extrapolate from the info bits they collected, like codename, board name, chip name,....The 690 and 750 is almost the same from the software perspective (sharing the same codename "lagoon"/the same Adreno 619/same Kryo cores..). The only viable way (non-root) to discriminate both chips is comparing the clock speed to the chip database, unfortunately this is unreliable because 3rd party overclock, custom ROM, etc...so most hardware info app doesnt use this method.
So in the case of that 10III, the CPU-Z got confused and choose to display the info as 750G

Wouldnt be easier and maybe cheaper to use smaller sensor for periscope like 667 instead of cropping a larger one? I still cant believe it was able to fit 650 in there. Phone is slim.
Is the info 5000mAh, 8.2mm and 157g correct? This weight is too weird. There is no they cut 10g with larger battery and maybe adding Qi charging unless frame becomes plastic like 10 series.
Would be nice to have different colours this time. Too much green and pink lately. How about copper, cian, mustard yellow, orange, gray, chocolate brown, gold, silver chrome ...
