Well, I moved from Ohio (1900MHz 3G) to Tennessee (850MHz 3G). So now I have no 3G signal
. Therefore my internet is slightly slower (nothing too terrible). Phone call quality/reception has not changed though.
So the difference in speed on the internet between EDGE and 3G are not that significant?
By the way, thanks for all your input.

I haven't done any quantitative tests, but, there's definitely not a night and day difference.

Does T-Mo data frequencies correlate with your X1's ?

Hi, ive been had an X1 for like 4 months now... and i had just realized that it has a crack on one side of the phone :S... its like just under the volume buttons... and also... the vibrator doesn't work anymore... ive never dropped it, i take really good care of it... i spend a lot of money for this phone, and its not as a good quality as the P990i i use to have...
Do you think this is part of the warranty? :S... because its only been 4 months and i don't use it as much as most of you guys...
And i hate it, because i always take really really good care of the stuff i buy... specially if its expensive...

@whybe
yes it does. When i called tmo one of the tech experts said they will eliminate t-zones in near future. from my personal experience this is the first time i had difficulties with settings. I can also say for the price i am not totally sold(happy not excited) as some of the other people have mentioned. maybe i will look towards idou or future x-series without windows mobile.

All bar one of the previous Iphone users have switched to X1s. Also 4 others have also switched from other makes as well.

That's pretty remarkable. Just saying.

any indication of when the battery is fully charged when x1 is off? My p990 showed a steady green light.
anyone out there to tell me otherwise why i should not return x1a?
any good apps out there that make this phone shine?
windows mobile has let me down

There are four indicator lights around the X1 indicating it's charging state.
You should definitely return the X1 if you aren't satisfied with it...I would. I don't think there is a magical app only available for X1 that will make you want to stay with X1.
Windows mobile has well documented "flaws" but I think the make or break for any device (outside of it's hardware) should be the quality of available software.
