@max_wedge
do you find the original R1CA drivers better?

No, about the same as R1BC. I'm not sure why SE made such a big version jump (4.5 to 5.3)

well the current hybrid driver is actually stable... its just not tweaked that much to suit our needs.
@ALL who skinned their MP
calling ALL XML programmers out there... is there a way to set the attribute of the image locations used in MP via settings.xml? like inside that program, can we pin point the system as to where it should pick the images to be used... is that possible? so that we can teach the system what exact images to use.. by then maybe we can get rid of the skins crashing together with the whole system.
@ALL
got questions here:
1) can we make the SMS compose a straight 360 characters, and not to concatenate it automatically.
2) is there a way to lengthen the SMS alert...

I'd say by looking at the existing xml files, that there is no way to tell the walkman to use specific images. If that's so, then the shortcuts you are looking for are in the main flash.
If I'm wrong and there are hooks in the firmware that look for xml code in the FS, (to trigger the location of images), we'd have to guess what they are. Good luck trying all the hundreds of possibilities
Maybe some kindly SE software engineer can quietly slip us some code....
