I have decided to get a P990i to compare against my TYTN. One question I have is:
Can you setup more than one email account on a P990i? I have 4 set up on my TYTN.

I now have my P990i here. It is better than I thought. Afetr 2 days it hasnt needed a reset yet.
The screen is brighter than my TYTN. It runs Tomtom a lot quicker than my (and a friends) tytn can. I am now seriously thinking about loosing the TYTN.

sorry to hear that. It sounds like a faulty installation of TomTom on ur TyTn.
On mine, no freezes and no lags.

What version of Tomtom are you using? I am using version 6. A friend has the same problems. There are lots of people on XDA developers with the same problem.

i am using 6 as well. The BT receiver is Holux GPSlim 236.
and one other thing. On the P990, once you open the TomTom it "eats" like * MB of your internal RAM. And no other apps can run at the same time. I tried it.
If you do not have enough RAM, the TomTom will not even start on P990.
But guess what? On the TyTn I had the TomTom and lot others. NO ISSUES. All ran smooth, not freezes and such.
