@mediar, thanks for the ADW app tip... very cool home screen replacement... I do miss the corner buttons though.

still testing it out... makes the Mini Pro a bit sluggish... but still observing if it's ADW or the app itself.

I do like the option of many desktops and widgets...

I do not like the fact that it makes the screen look extremely cluttered.

I do prefer the vertical app drawer scrolling more than iphone style horizontal one... what annoyed me with the iphone style "dots" is that you can't skip a screen. Vertical scrolling is way better specially with one hand.

you can edit the scrolling direction by going into the adw settings.
press menu in the home screen and drawer settings.
there are a dozen different settings to configure and also different themes.

@angryman, thanks... I found those settings.

I currently remapped the home button to toggle between the app drawer and the home screen.

I only have 3 desktops, default desktop is the middle one, so that I have quick access to the left and right screens.

Main screen is Quick Search and Executive Assistant (this gives me quick access to SMS, Phonebook, Email, Facebook, and my Calendar w/ previews for all)

Left screen is 12-16 of my most commonly used apps

Right screen is just Timescape

**Some people don't like Timescape, I kinda do... here's a quick review I have on Timescape**

Malinda, does the screen stay off when you pull the phone away from your face? The screen goes black because when you hold the phone up to your face, the sensor shuts off the screen... when you pull the phone away from your face, the screen SHOULD come back on.

No I pull out from my face and see the screen to end the call. I have to push left hardware button to on the screen then I can see the call end icon in the screen in the right side down.

I think, this is the 1st phone in the world to end call you have to push two buttons

Hi Malinda, just to clarify, when you're about to end the call and you pull the phone away from your face, the screen does come back on or it doesn't? Are you using a different dialer? When I'm in a call and I pull the phone away from my face, the screen comes back and I just have to press the end call button... no need to press the lower left hardware key.
