I totally agree with you Moe87 but sometimes logic doesn't apply, there's no point pushing a hard luck story either because Sony does have its flaws so I say focus on the things that people complain about so that you can give a big middle finger if people still give the trash talk. Sony has everyone licked on performance and speed so its time they raise their standards on camera, audio etc.

Same for the Ultra, regular ppl will see giant screen and think battery wont last half day.
Design: they should try at least to trim 4 or 6 mm of total size.

Sony put much efforts on Z2 and Z3. But still lost money.
Probably why z are dead and x are the thing.
USA: most buy Samsung or Apple
China: ppl that can afford less than 500 dollars will buy Xiaomi, Oppo or Honor. Ppl that can afford phones above $500 end up with Huawei or Apple.
India: low ends are the key, ppl buy almost only Xiaomi Redmi.
They started to play safe with X phones, maybe because they realize they should do just enough to keep going.
Galaxy S has many things that could be improved. Samsung does not need to.
They know sales will be great anyway.
Samsung phones are slower than other brands, slower updates, bad front camera, mono speaker, bad place of FPS.
Dual edge screen is annoying to many ppl(I almost dropped my cousin's s6 edge) . It also has slower QC.
Nothing will stop great sales..
Lets suppose this " XZ Pro A" has those specs.
Phone would be too expensive even for europeans and americans.
And what if it cant sell well?
I would like to see them sell at least 21 million phones per year.
Not sure if we will ever see...
Sony is known everywhere because PS, they should take advantage of it..

As a sony fan I am highly disappointed..
In 2018 mid range phones also need to be bezelless especially when the device cost 450 euro..But look at the sony..No design change also bad fps..
Oneplus 5T easily the best ph at this price range.. Upcoming A8 2018 may have small screen but have bezelless scrren, waterproof,same dual front cam and cost same..

No way even oppo vivo have solid selfie cam with high screen to body ratio at much cheaper price(ex oppo f5)
Huawei have honor 9i..
Upcoming nokia devices also will be bezelless..Htc also planning a bezel less mid range phablet..
Then Why sony why??Every brand now offer new trendy design but sony still stuck with outdated design..
If it atleast have SD660 and waterproof then price will be justified...
But as of now it just looks overpriced outdated design product..
Huge disappointed!

About chinese...
I read couple days ago that the chinese ROM is full of advertisement like many apps.
And they get paid for that.
All them have international ROM for their phones.
The back of L2 reminds me xperia c
