i won't start to play a small violin but in my days nobody had a mobile in my class. even if someone could afford one you would be lucky to have a single digit display and a 1 foot aerial on a brick sized object. we used to write all our notes on an A4 page, stick it in a photocopier and scale it down as small as you could then you would do the exact same again with the copy until you had a credit card size cheat sheet. kids these days, they don't know how good they have it.
