Only way to update your phone beyond R2AE is to either send it to an official Sony Ericsson Service Centre or us the Team Davinci website as linked to in my previous post.

I found this on the 1st page of this thread:
R2AY004
- Released by DaVinci on 24/5/05
- Released on SEUS 10/6/05
- Currently no reported changes from R2AT
- JBenchmark 1: 2419
- JBenchmark 2: 127
LCD: 200406041
Camera: 3.10
ITP: CXC 125 813 R1T
My phone is unbranded and unlocked and yet, SEUS says that my phone is upto date. I would like to know if any of you have used SEUS to update to R2AY004? Please let me know if someone has done it!

This is a mistake. It hasn't been released on the SEUS, it has been released at service centres.

In R2L will work if you choose silent mode. But in R2AY, it doesnt shut off.

Sorry matey, your guess is as good as ours. Not sure if SEUS ever intend to release this version onto their online service. From the sounds of it, there are a few bugs with R2AY and as such they may wait until the next release.....or not.
Shame we don't have a man/woman on the inside....would be very useful

It would seem that since R2AE, the firmware releases have been a bit uncertain. Perhaps this is why they haven't appeared on the SEUS.
