SEUS is unable to detect my phone! What can I do to solve this? Thanks.

Edit: Okay, when I turn on the phone with volume down button with power button, the color stripes appear. When I connect to the computer, the SEUS, stars searching, and then the phone shows a progress bar with 0%, and then coloured stripes re appear. This keeps happening hapening and then SEUS shows it cannot find phone. It tried it on my friend's laptop as well.

Search through xda-developers.

But I catched one thing: on MobileDevice Center, UNTICK the "connect through USB" option.
It's strange but worked for somebody who had this problem.

Oh, here it is:
"After clear the Checkbox : USB Connection allowed, in the Vista Mobile Devicecenter (before connecting the USB cable to X1), the SEUS can identify my X1 and I have tried it twice successfully."

There is a field when editing contacts called "Ring Tone". Click there and you can assign a ringtone for each contact.

To assign to different categories, I believe you need a third-party app to do that...

Hm.. i don't really know anything about WinMo phones. But if i buy an X1 from switzerland with swiss language, can i "reinstall" the windows on it in UK english? or if it's from America... any difference? or they are all the same? I would like to buy an x1 from a site like eBay, but i don't know where they got them, and i don't want it to be deifferent than the EU versions...

because it's not ebay, it's local "ebay", and he doesn't know where it's from. Box unopened, i mean phone not started.

Of course, if you're going to buy expensive things like this from ebay you have to make really sure you know what you're doing. Buying only from highly rated sellers, etc. That said, I got my X1 for a total bargain this way. No problems whatsoever. It was branded, but I had debranded it within a couple of days anyway. There's no way I'd pay full price for the phone.
