still havin cam crashes with the latest drivers.. namely 2.7s and 10s.
for all those who have K750 with R1CA firmwares. try this:
- open your lens cover but not thoroughly (half part just until the view finder loads a bit)
- then quicly close back the cover...
- try opening it thoroughly... the cam crashes...
hhmm... still havin some probs of gettin to use to.

Sorry to bother you with my question high deities (LOL), but...
What's the best driver?
I really would like to just install it and avoid reading >50 pages and trying every one and each of them to see if a pixel in a sky is more blue with it than with the previous driver...
Thanks, and please let me know what you think.

Yes, thanks rocky, I already had them downloaded, but still, there are plenty to test...
For the last posts I saw... I read v2.73 and 10.3... hybrid and non-hybrid... if 2.73 is made from a part of w900 cam, then where does 10.3 came from? I will be scrolling back to the posts too, but if you kindly let me know just in case I fall asleep before...
Thanks, really.

2.73 ?? there are no 2.73 dude, at least until present time, scroll back the page, you can find the latest 'best' camera drivers there, if you don't want to test every driver, then my suggesstion is, try 2.71...for me, that's the best driver around

@Dan
the version 10s were taken from R1CA camdrivers... and tweaked some features inside it... nothin added.. just tweaked..
majority of the version 2s are hybrid... as for me my phone is on R1CA firmware... thos sometimes i experience crashes with cam. well so goes for version 10s on the otherhand.
try the latest since i think theyre the best... 2.72/.73 and version 10.01
so there you go... it has been dropped to 3 drivers...

the 50 pages here are meant for something... And if you're lazy to even discover what this is about then dont' bother changing your driver.
Picture is a very personal preference kind of thing. We can't exactly tell you the best out there but it's up to yourself on what you want.

No, but you can tell me as kindly as rockygali and others have done, simply which you think is the best instead of always replying "ehh.. go read the XXX pages";
I'm not lazy and I always like to read everthing, but now I just want to go to the best and don't betatest all of them.
Is that so a bad thing to do?

Wow! Tested 10.3... it's so dark that it seems like a big black rectangle!
Now trying 2.73... seems actually better!
Now trying photometry to see what it does... it looks the same as v2.72.
What exactly is the photometry driver is supposed to do? I took two pictures to a direct light and the photm. look like if it glowed less, but made the background even darker... does 10.x or 2.x apply photometry?
Also, all these other drivers that are posted in those zip files as a compilation... what are all about? Is any of those better than the 2.x and 10.x series?
Thanks.

well Danny boy... about the photometry.. its like somehow a concentration of the focus on some bright lights... it will definitely show itself on some subjects which has brighter background than the subject... so photometry will focus on the subject disregarding the strength of the brightness behind it... errr somethin like that... its not a professional explanation tho..
and the others.. well basically there are some other programmers that are willing to contribute their findings... and of course a cup of their own teas, of which i think have their own strengths and weaknesses...
IMHO, i think its a well collected drivers for different occassions... so dodge in brotha!
