Yep I talked to O2 and they said they had no plans to have the phone within the next two months? I think its the same case with T-mobile although I don't know about Vodafone. Pretty frustrating but guess it means we have to make do with a simfree one.

To disable 3G..
settings->connectivity->mobile networks->more->gsm/3g networks->gsm only

Yep I've decided to keep my pre-order, was thinking of the HTC Touch Diamond but can't get over the crappy looking Windows. And as the G900 has the same base OS as the P990 and P1i I would think all the sat nav software will work like Tom Tom which I currently use on my P1i.

How am I supposed to listen to streaming audio (i.e. internet radio) with my G900? Opera Mobile just seems to open the playlist files, and I can't find any way to open streams from within the media application.
Or am I assuming too much to hope that the media player in a 3G/wifi smartphone would support streaming out-of-the-box in 2008?
