Wasnt the TouchPro almost identical to the X1 hardware wise?And didnt the TouchPro come out before X1?
X1 was okay, but you had the 2yearold E90 at the time that had a better CPU, and larger screen. Wouldnt say X1 was realy ahead, but realy was refreshing in terms of design compared to other WMs thats for sure.

These devices are actually very good. What is better than Vivaz and Vivaz Pro? The Nokia N97 replacement will be much more expensive. The X10 minis are unique and have a decent spec. Robyn is the square phone, the screen seems like that so that its UI works well. The UI is decent, it does what the X10 does but with less information on the screen at one time so hats off to them. Vivaz and Pro are the stand out devices in their segment.
My disappointment is that there should have previewed another 12MP camera phone. Nokia will show their one which is good but Nokia also have Symbian with multi touch capabilities. That's a good step forward, it means that Symbian fans won't have to move to Android for such features and it shows that they are caring for an important market. The Satio replacement will come but a sneaky peak would have been nice.
A phone capable of running WM7 would cause a massive fuss. Microsoft's announcement will definitely get huge attention and with that in mind, some really hot devices will emerge. That's one party that they look to have missed.
My final gripe is that the X10 minis are nice but the HTC Hero was a massive hit so why not bring something out like that as well. X10 is one of the best but something on the level of Hero would be special and another opportunity missed. I appreciate the thoughts and strategy of
but HTC will have a killer line up and its so easy to have the spotlight shift away. Look at Samsung's Bada phone. Wow for the Super AMOLED and Bada but boo for no multi touch, that phone is in hiding now and it didn't take long at all.
