Strange that there a very few reviews from the big names (GSM Arena, Engadget, etc), seems that Sony haven't sent out many press models.

GSM Arena should be giving their review anytime soon now. Not sure of the others.

Hello to all.
I am a new user of this forum, but I have been reading all your comments for a long time. Thanks to that, I finally decided to get a XPERIA S.
Yesterday I went to the Sony Store in Barcelona around 7pm, and I got the last one they had in black.

(They still had like 6 or 7 in white).
I have to say that my first impression when you turn on the device is.... The Screen is Fu#@ing awesome

. My previous phone had a Super Amoled screen and I thought that was the best we could get from a mobile device. I was wrong. This one is georgous. The details, the colors, the images look so real as if you are looking through a window...
Overall haven't got time to try anything else. I'm still waiting for the microsim to arrive.
But another thing I really like and I want to say is that the clear cristal antenna, works as a notification bar and turns on when you got a notification. (It's not as cool as the Xperia U, but works quite fine).
Last thing I want to mention, the Spanish Edition of the Xperia S cames with the following items in the box:
-Xperia S
-Charger
-HDMI cable
-2 Smartags
-Headphones
-USB cable
-Screen Protector
If anyone wants to ask anything about this device, feel free to do so. I will try to answer all your doubts.
Before I had one in my hands, I thought it was a good phone, now that I have one, I think it's a great phone, and despite the fact of not been the BEST in hardware like other models presented in the MWC (4core,41mp camera), I love the design and the screen.
See ya later.

So they don't give any headset? What about normal ones, do they work?

No, they don't, because of the different audio jack. You should buy iphone headsets in order to work.
