All this Celtel free-today-billing-tomorrow points to one thing: GPRS billing has come to stay.

After three years, I wonder when we will have cross-network MMS? Because, I don't know any Celtel person whose MMS works (apart from Amby). Mine never worked during the trials. So if I can send my MMS from Celtel to Glo, that would be nice. But these our networks sef...

Have u guys noticed the drop in newspaper adverts by the GSM networks?

Amby after all the manual configurations, i sent for mms activation which they replied that they are processing it, am still getting communication error. I think Cool Apostle is right, so far its only your celtel mms that works.

Me too, I was thinking the same thing too. I tried the mms activation which was activated after deducting 15 bucks credit (I really don't kinow why I should be billed for requesting for settings) and its not working. Amby, you be insider?

@amby: I'm not certain if I can perceive any significant difference in performance between the two for regular browsing.

But for downloads, Glodirect is the clear winner: it is faster and more stable. Still, I wont be touching Glodirect till either Celtel throws me out or Glo drops their tariff below 10kobo per kb.

If celtel GPRS prepaid is 10k, I wonder how much postpaid will be? I guess it will be dirt cheap then.
@AYA, what happens to your glo line then? All the contacts, friends, associates.......

@mamba: I have my Glo line in an old run-down phone, while the Celtel is in my E61 for web/internet usage.
