@ doc,
Thanks for the heads up, but I guess Sourav's swan-song was indeed imminent.
I enjoy watching some international cricket, but certainly don't bother with any domestic stuff, and I'm definitely not any form of fanatical follower; just got loadsa national pride- sport is (usually) such a unifying factor for SA's diverse population.

@francois

If they still exist (ixia, waterfall park, midrand), they will upgrade firmware and reapir pretty much anything. I phoned an dwas told the number doesn't exist. I emailed, and am awaiting reply.

Finally got VM pack for R55. Pretty nice.

*awwww* he shoots.... he sucks!

Followed all the instrustions and it says my account has been suspended (Already?) and that I should phone cutomer care.

So I dial customer care and it says that my account has been.... bla bla bla

Oh... my ... gosh....!

So I call customer service and they activate the sim, but now it says my service has been locked.

This is fun *rolls eyes*

Forgot to mention that the sim-free, unlocked W710i's have started their retail life at £179.95 (approx R2600 with today's exchange rate) when bought with £10 airtime, at Carphone Warehouse.

I just saw the funniest video: it is what happens when you work on a kids tv show, and it gets to your head....If anyone has bandwidth to spare, go watch it at:

@ psycho, oh gosh, I forgot, I saw the w900i being offered by Incredible Corruption for 3.3k, or on weekender. They said limited stocks, so if they do have it, it must be from a late shipment or something. Here is your chance, but a word of warning, the k800i is way superior..

@ Francois,
ROLMAO!!!!!! I absolutely hosed myself at that video clip! Pluckin' away like that...
Imagine if there was a SA version of that, maybe with the likes of the old Pumpkin Patch cast, et al.

@ wanqa, it was the funniest video I have seen in a while! Apparently the cast of the show got quite fed up with being nice the whole time and made that piece for their Christmas party....Needless to say that was not aired back in the day, for, well, obvious reasons....I can almost imagine a out-take of pumpkin patch like that...Just imagine...Woofles getting all friendly with the chick, getting close to her leg for reasons unbeknown to little kids, and those other two, freckles and speckles getting all gay on each other...That would be funny! And it would confirm what we all already knew...=)
