Eldars mistakes can be mildly amusing.

By that translation I say he was referring to G series handsets.

He says six 'on the market' for 2008. I'm wondering if he means 'on sale' or just 'announced' in 2008.

There were 4 devices announced in both May and June last year. So its quite possible we could see more G series phones announced and out on sale before the end of the year.

I am not saying what i say based just on what Eldar means now...there are MORE than six total UIQ devices to be presented in 2008 (not all will be released in 2008 though) - so, i am almost sure i means only G series type devices and, Paris & Co are NOT on that category

Sorry, but this beibei device looks exactly like G series and I wouldn't see any sense of making it different type.

i found this: bluetooth 2.1 NFC(Near Field Communication)
maybe the paris would have this thing in it, because the will put this in mobiel phones over 3 till 6 months.

What's the different from Bluetooth 2.0 and 2.1? Is it faster?

Amongst other things:
"NFC cooperation: automatic creation of secure Bluetooth connections when NFC radio interface is also available.

For example, a headset should be paired with a Bluetooth 2.1 phone including NFC just by bringing the two devices close to each other (a few centimeters).

Another example is automatic uploading of photos from a mobile phone or camera to a digital picture frame just by bringing the phone or camera close to the frame."

Not so much "FASTER" in everything we do in BT (file transfers will NOT be faster); but because the frequency hoping is just 3 frequencies for WiBree (now BT-NFC) quick information like transactions for payments will be faster and use less power. Something I can do without ... call me fearful of Orweillian brainstorms of the book 1984; but I definately can do WITHOUT NFC.
