was doing a backread of this thread and looking at those wonderful posted sample shots of the Hazel makes me think of selling my Wave5253 and get a Hazel... really rocks when it comes to photos!

@ aldrinus

Just would like to share my thoughts on Elm/Hazel. It's excellent at daylight, but has problems at lowlight having some light horizontal lines on the picture, and Hazel units suffer from a bit of a yellowish LED flash, don't know about the newer units if it was fixed, Elm on the other hand has no problems on the LED flash.

If you're going to use it only for daylight pictures or as long as there is sufficient light like inside stores/malls its great and it records good quality videos too. Still hoping that will release a firmware update that will totally remove the light lines on lowlight pictures

thanks a lot, kabayan! you're tip is much appreciated

been an avid and rabid user for the longest time. i'm more into camera when it comes to phones that's why. i am actually torn between a Vivaz and Hazel. bigay ko na lang sa daughter ko yung Wave 5253 ko pag nakabili ng hopefully within this month! and Hazel so far fits my bill... i just hope that our smart driver modders here could come up with something to correct what you have observed and improve the Hazel's cam performance.

most of us here are hoping for a modded camera driver or at least a fix from

Edit: Btw the other members were the first ones to notice the horizontal lines appearing on lowlight pictures.
