I used the i8910 before upgrading and i did consider the n8 but a few things put me off. It is slower than the i8910. The screen is smaller. It has no stereo speakers. Sound quality on the n8 is below average. So it was a big fat no for.me.

How far from the phone can you be while still enjoying stereo sound from a phone? Hint: why do most people keep the speakers for their home theater not lumped together very close but spread out in the room?
Or could it be that your phone's speakers are so good that you use it for your home theater? WOW! Wall-mounted 50 inch full HD flat screen and an i8910 mounted above it for really amazingly realistic experience! I bet your neighbors keep complaining to you about keeping the volume down while watching movies!

With HDMI cable that's possible with N8.

My N8-00 is on the way... i will do a shoot out myself once i got my hands on the N8-00.
I wonder what to do with my Satio once that happens.. it is a useless phone thanks to the poorly supported and optimised software, the thing now barely last 30 hours standby with two calls max and no net usage, a spare battery is a must.
Although I rejected Sony's SE phones drove a couple of friends away from buying the X10 range, i went with their NEX camera. The CMOS on NEX was amazing at low light, therefore i expect their nex gen 12 to 16 mpx camera CMOS to be very good. I read a while ago bloody apple pick them to mass produce the CMOS for iphone 5....
one thing i would like to make clear was, N8 is a series of phones, not just One model of phone, bloody nokia confuses everybody with the new naming system. Therefore when i first launch my now closed threat, it was N8-00, expect N8-01 coming late next year with 14 mega pixel camera...

Yes, thats a very good point ! ive already tried mine using the N8's own 720p videos !
My replacement arrived yesterday, well i actually had to go down to the UPS depot and pick it up myself since the delivery driver didnt hang around for my girlfriend to answer the door.
Initial thoughts: im sure its more updated then my previous N8, there appears to be more options available in the menus which were absent in my first N8, yet there has been no software updates AFAIK... ? ?
