In that teaser image for MWC it clearly represents a new dawn or a new horizon for Sony Mobile and that's exactly what Don Mesa was mentioning in his interview last week or so.
Excited to see the new devices especially how well Sony adopt 5G.

i'm pretty sure is it the teaser of a new phone. just yesterday i saw a video on instagram (sonyxperia profile) about xz3. there is a moment they show the profile of the telephone vertically. if we turned it in a horizontal position, we would obtain a result similar to the mcw's survey.

Well the teaser shows a purple band between the two blue bands as if it's a line separating them, doesn't look like a single piece.
