I personally wouldn't update yet because the CDA looks messed on Da Vinci.

It should be 1201-0095 or 1201-0089 but they have it listed as 123456.

Something is definitely not right with their firmware

you are correct SupermansZ24 the CDA is really weird. i wouldnt update to R1F until released on SEUS.. i really hope it is realeased on SEUS this week....

This image doesn't look very sharp but I don't think I had finished focusing when I took it.

This one looks great IMO - very busy background and VERY close - 6 inches to the closest subject, maybe 15 to the furthest.

Yes, but that 3.7 driver existed since R1EA037 which has been out for 2-3months

Flash works alright. I think I need to clean my sensor though and is it me or what but when the exposure is is set high the camera movement is kinda slow.

Cleaned the sensor, now much better image:

It is just a generic cda. It comes up on the phone as 1200-4400 R1FA035 080527. Mine was APAC-ANZ prior to flashing. Just cause the camera driver is the same doesnt mean it wasnt tweaked to give a better output. Still may be the same driver but it does appear that the pictures are better.

mine too..any solutions to this?even with iso set to 100,same again..too white pics

As mentioned many times in this thread make sure the light sensor is clean. Use a toothpick to clean out any dirt etc from the small hole near the flash.

The problem is it gets full of dirt very quickly so you have to clena it often.

If you do that and keep your fingers away from the front of the phone you shouldn't have a problem with the flash.

Guys those pics really starting to look good you can definitly see a difference but, i am wondering still why would davinci get this firmware and sony not releasing it ,........my take on this is that sony have the full version of the (R1F) and they pre release this to see the response they would get because the firmware is definitly to simple for this big secret or hold back so they are up to some thing thats why the cda looks weird or is weird i am just trying to analyze this whole thing its not making sense

any one notice in this r1f firmy if the light sensor works any at all the sensor in front of the phone left hand corner ....

My Conclusions on R1FA035 Firmware:
Picture quality is greatly improved.
Battery life 12 hours with bluetooth h500,text messaging, checking email. From full charge to 70%.
Sound while playing mp3,no headset,louder
MP4 still out of sync
New options is a plus
Overall responsiveness greatly improved
Havent had a restart

Has anyone with the new firmware noticed any difference with the dampened/muffled sound in the mediaplayer when listening to music on high sound levels? That really anoyes me!
