Guys. Quad core S4 (US) vs Octa core S4 have the same performance in 99% of real world tasks despite the Octa core with ridiculous benchmark scores. Biggest advantage would be battery life. Seriously, its not a big deal. What is more important is that someone takes a big step in the camera department because there hasn't been much progress lately. Nokia dominate camera but that's Windows only and whatever the Pureview uses. I'm looking forward to what Sony can do. Also, Beats audio on HTC is nothing without the Beats headphones so I'm looking forward to what Sony can do in that respect too. Design alone there is much to be optimistic about.

Be happy.

Absolutely wrong. My Xperia Ion have the same real world performance compared to the S4. My Ion just refuses to lag.

Heavy games like what? X-Plane 9, Temple Run 2 and Real Racing (all considered GPU intensive) runs too smooth already. I swear. Remember, you are not doing AutoCad in your phone.
Even if S3 processor is ageing, the S4 Dual Core in Xperia T is already more than enough.

I found a source that said Sony never make a 1/1.6" sensor
it suspect that the One Sony sensor will not be 1/1.6"
it shows the all sensor made by Sony here:
http://www.sony.net/Products/SC-HP/datasheet/01/index.html
all Exmor RS sensor :
http://www.sony.net/SonyInfo/News/Press/201208/12-107E/index.html
source:
http://disp.cc/b/332-5C1P
Seems can't find 1/1.6...
Will Sony make a new sensor for One Sony?

I beg to differ. Maybe its your opinion, but I have not had a single game proper game run ok on T. Also the cpu heat control kicks in and the game starts lagging within first 4 minutes. I have temple run oz, mordern combat 4, and so many other gameloft games which I bought and none of them work like they should.

Physically, yes.. digitally.. no, the 808 is pushing ~3.0 @ 8Mpix and ~4.0 @5Mpix

True. Recent Sony CAMERA (not smartphone) sensors have disproved the belief that higher the pixel size the better.

If anybody, Nikon proved that at some point you might start getting diminishing returns if you donh't have the rest of the components in place, like in many DSLRs. Their D800 is the perfect example.
It shoots at 4.8 microns and it performs like a 6.0+ micron camera. There is just a lot more going on in high end compacts and DSLR.. in smartphones, a difference between 1.4 microns and 2.0 will be much greater than a difference of 0.6 in a high end DSLR.. it just becomes much harder to see.
Most high end full frame DSLRs hang between 5-7 microns.. if there was any benefit in going bigger, they would've done it by now.
With the exception of most Hasselblad and other super high ends..

39 executives from Sony, including CEO Kaz Hirai, forego their bonuses worth 10 million $. I hope their sincerity and dedication pays off.
