bad solution, but it worked to use the internal browser and surf to the gmail.com opening the mail and then use Meny>more>mark text wich is not OK

I'm having this problem too and have to use browser to do copy/paste. Any other workaround?

No other workaround I know of for the gmail app lack of copy and paste. Not sure if android's gmail app update for 2.2 fixes that up or not. I heard there is a way to back port the gmail app from 2.2 to 2.1 too, but not explored that yet as I don't even have 2.1 to play with yet.

Go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications
Set the filter to 'All' using the menu button
Select each of the following apps in the list and press 'Clear Cache':
Checkin Service
Google Apps
Market / Marketplace
Google Talk
Now restart your phone. When you first go back to the Market, you'll need to sign in again with your Google account, but hopefully after that, everything should be working!

I like the latest Facebook application - it supports all Android versions now so you get Facebook Places. One good thing about still having 1.6.....

You used to be able to change the keyboard, I can't see how on this one.

I hear is a long progress to up date so will have to wait to finish work to upgrade, UK Generic X10 owners a update is ready not sure if it is a europe upgrade?

Well My X10 says there is a update for phone But Sony Ericsson PC Companion says there is not? and the Sont Ericsson update programe says there is a update would I like to update? is it best to update with that or wait for Sony Ericsson PC Companion to tell me to update if anyone can help? this new backup programe do u get that before you update or after??
