Obviously The phone will be bulky because of the big camera and flash unit...So a big battery can be put inside...Also the xenon flash need more juice...

Still, keep your hopes low about the battery. Maybe Sony will go with 3000 in the end. But since the body itself is much bigger this time than the Z, it shouldn't be a problem to go with bigger capacity in the final version.

Heck even at 3000 mAh that would be pretty large. They just need to get a display that does not eat up too much juice (I believe in Igzo ), and pair it with a power efficient S800. The one on the Xperia Z and ZL seem to consume a lot of the battery's life. Based on GSM Arena's battery test, both Z and ZL topped the charts in talk time hours but got below average battery life on web browsing and video playback.

I think most of us prefer longer battery live over being so thin... I mean 8-9mm is enough... thin is sleek and nice yes.. but short battery time isn't...

If must, I think Sony should make the MAXX concept... the original RAZR was 7.1mm with 1780mAh, and the MAXX was only 1.9mm thicker with 85% more battery juice ( 3300mAh )

As long as thickness isn't over 10mm I think I'm okay. On the software side Android 4.2 supports lock screen widgets. Has Sony ever removed features included in stock Android. Will they be using this? One thing I don't like on their 4.1 is the animation as you slide from home screen to home screen... Is there a way to disable it? If not I hope they remove it in their 4.2 update, it makes it look laggy... Any info on this?

well if they do put in a xenon flash, it's not like the battery has to be MONSTEROUSLY larger or anything. The battery used in my RX100 is the NP-BX1 and it's only related for 1240mAH. That's something with a more powerful flash than I expect in Honami. If they can put a 3000 - 3500 mAH battery in there, it should work out perfectly. If they go above and beyond and go 4000-5000, I'll wet myself with glee

EDIT.
@JoJotaro:

What if it is over 10mm, but curved back so that it doesn't feel as thick?

@vivftp

As long as it doesn't fell to bulky in my pocket and my hands... Sony's curved designee is really nice when you hold it in landscape

Arc-curved glass, that would make you wet more.
