Real talk, these benchmark fiends are funny to me.
It's not going to be $1000, it will replace ZL at the same price point, no higher than that. The phablet will be more expensive and go into new pricing territory though, possibly $799 offline and $299 on a two year deal with AT&T.
Didnt Spectre51 say AT&T aint getting no Sony phones this year.

Anyway, on-topic, does anyone know how aggressively Sony will market their 2h flagship? I mean, marketing for the Z was extensive, but they still have to step it up a level to set themselves up for 2014 to threaten Samsung volume-wise.
