At this stage you can just do a total flash of your phone(full format then reinstall of FW) for this you need the A2 uploader, there is a step by step guide in this forum
Yes I did it. Hpm still not working after another upgrading to R1EA. Strange thing

In the SMS inbox there is a new tab on the right.

I've locked and loaded the new firmware and found the following for anyone who's interested:
When setting the time and date it tells you when the next daylight saving change is due and asks you to accept it.
In the 'service menu' - 'service info' there's a new option called 'Slider flip count'. No idea what it does as the number has been zero for me for a while.
When writing a text in predictive mode pressing the '*' key whilst selecting a predicted word doesn't change the case in the way it used to. Slightly annoying to someone who uses it a lot.
Media Player is as fast as it should be, finally.
Media Player appears to have had a normalization of audio tracks enabled (at least it seems that way, I've not properly tested it) meaning that the tracks I had before which were recorded quieter are now played back at the same volume as everything else. Useful because I don't have to edit those MP3s on my PC now. It's something that iTunes has done since before the first iPod mini and something that iPods have done for years.
The way in which to navigate to delete all phone contacts has changed slightly. I'm sure it used to not offer to delete all sim contacts in the same menu.
***No bugg on viewing SMS from the main menus as there has been reported by others here.
I didn't notice anything else. The incoming sms looks the same to me, but I view new events as pop-ups, the aesthetic changes may be for the activity menu, although viewing that menu via the button it looks the same.

Yorkie, what cda you using?
I dont think normalisation has been implementd. Unles when changing acoustics under tpa has affectd this, as some mp3s are lower than others.
